What you say in whispers, I say in poems…

‘It doesn’t feel like Christmas’, you’ve been saying.

Could it be that we’ve been expecting Christmas the wrong way?

Flip to Isaiah 9:6. See what Christmas is really about.

Not a jolly old man in a red suit.

Now that the economy isn’t what it used to be, Christmas seems to have deflated

Really? Or we’ve been having a fake Christmas all along?

The ‘real’ Christmas is not affected by the rising and falling of the naira.

It is Christ. A celebration of our propitiation.

Our atonement sacrifice

Which He was.

As soon as you see Christmas as Christ, believe me, your Christmas done come!
